2021 France Vacation celebrating Paul Wolter turning 50 last year, my turning 60 this year, and our 9th anniversary this month. We are also spending a week on a service project (cleaning, painting, fixing, repairing) for some fellow believers' Christian ministry in an old beautiful chateau in need of TLC , a true answer to prayer to find someone to serve while in France.

DAY 1. Our goal was to visit lavender fields in the south of France. Our big surprises were discovering a town called Moustiers Sainte Marie and the Gorge du Verdon.

Day 2: This was a day to visit Roman ruins: the Pont Du Gard (Gard region aqueduct bridge), a famous 2000 year old Roman bridge carrying water over 31 miles to the town of Nimes and then in Nimes, we visited one of 400 Roman arenas which still stands today and originally was one of the 20 largest arenas and then the most intact Roman temple call the Maison Carrée.
